OSIP: The Office of Special Infrastructure Projects

The Office of Special Infrastructure Projects (OSIP) is a major umbrella under which our international development projects are executed. It focuses on social and economic infrastructure development of least developed countries in accordance with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Initiative details

In collaboration with infrastructure development partners, governments, public and private sector partners, OSIP aims at implementing the national development agenda of developing and least developed countries (LDC’S) in accordance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs). OSIP supports the UNDP SDG Integration Agenda.

SUSTAINABLE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT IN LEAST DEVELOPED & DEVELOPING COUNTRIES AROUND THE WORLD.

Our focus on People development is underpinned by sustainability, creating an echo system of social and economic infrastructure development projects that thrive on and support each other, while maintaining a balanced support to People advancement and human development.

Economic Infrastructure of focus include:

  • Sustainable Energy –UNSDG 7, UNSDG 13
  • Transportation and logistics infrastructure (Including airports, railways, roads and highways, ports and harbors etc)- UNSDG 8, UN SDG 11
  • Technology and Communication Systems- UNSDG 8, UNSDG 11
  • Financial Institutions and Systems- UNSDG 8, UNSDG 10
  • Tourism and Infrastructure developments with Environment/Vegetation preservation- UNSDG 11, UNSDG 13, UNSDG 14, UNSDG 15
  • Manufacturing and Industry Development- UNSDG 8, UNSDG 9

 

Social Infrastructure of focus Include:

  • Education Infrastructure –UNSDG 4 
  • Affordable Real Estate – UNSDG 10
  • Healthcare Infrastructure- UNSDG 3
  • Water and Sanitation- UNSDG 6
  • Public social Interventions in employment, health, education, Security and Safety- UNSDG 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 16
